Day 1 – Monday, October 17: Non-stop flight to Tel Aviv
Day 2 - Tuesday, October 18: Tel Aviv arrival
Upon arrival to Tel Aviv airport, you will be met by our representatives at the customs hall to be assisted with claiming your luggage and meeting your guide. Transfer to Tel Aviv Hotel for Dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 3 – Wednesday, October 19: Caesarea Maritima - Caesarea Philippi – Tiberias
We begin our day with a visit to Caesarea Maritima (included). Here, we will visit the Roman theater, Herod’s Palace & Crusader citadel. It is here that St. Peter baptized the first Gentile convert to Christianity. It is also here that St. Paul was held in prison for two years. We will then continue to Caesarea Phillipi where St. Peter confessed his faith in Christ (St. Matthew 16), we will celebrate Mass here. We will then continue to our Tiberias Hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 4 – Thursday, October 20: Cana - Nazareth – Mt. Tabor – Tiberias
We begin our day in Cana of Galilee where we will celebrate Mass and have the reaffirmation of marriage vows. We will then continue to Nazareth where we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the place where the Angel appeared to Our Blessed Mother and announced the birth of Jesus. We will also visit the Church of St. Joseph, believed to be his carpentry shop. We will then have optional Lunch at the Holy Land restaurant (not included) before we continue to Mt. Precipice, the brow of the hill on which the city was built (St. Luke, chapter 4). Next we will go to Mt. Tabor where the Transfiguration of Our Lord took place (taxi included). We then return to our Tiberias Hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 5 – Friday, October 21: Mt. Beatitudes – Peter’s Primacy – Capernaum –Magdala – Ancient Boat Museum – Sea of Galilee Boat Ride – Tiberias
We start our day on the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given. We will celebrate Mass here. We will then go to St. Peter’s Primacy, the place where Jesus appeared to the disciples the third time after the Resurrection. We then continue to Capernaum (included), to visit the ancient Jewish synagogue and the house of St. Peter’s mother-in-law, followed by lunch that will feature the traditional “St. Peter’s Fish” at Pilgerhaus (not included). We will then visit Magdala (included), the hometown of St. Mary Magdalene before we visit the Ancient Boat Museum (included), with a two- thousand-year-old wooden boat, and conclude our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee (included). We return to our Tiberias Hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 6 – Saturday, October 22: Baptismal Site – Qumran – Dead Sea – Jerusalem
We start our day at the Baptismal Site (Qasr Al Yehoud) where Jesus was baptized. We will celebrate Mass here. We will then continue to Qumran (included) where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found (lunch on your own but free time for shopping for Dead Sea products). We will conclude our day at the Dead Sea where you will get a chance to float in this unique body of water. We proceed to our Jerusalem Hotel where we check-in. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. Day 7 – Sunday, October 23: Bethlehem – Shepherds’ Fields – Jerusalem
We begin our day with Mass and a visit at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We will then visit the Shepherd’s Fields where the angles appeared to the Shepherds and announced the birth of Jesus. After lunch at Cheers Restaurant (not included), we will stop at a Christian Store in Bethlehem for you to shop for olive wood products and other souvenirs before we return to our Jerusalem Hotel for Dinner and overnight. Day 8 – Monday, October 24: Mt. Olives – St. Anne & Pools of Bethesda – Chapel of the Flagellation – Ecce Homo
We begin our day on the Mount of Olives with an orientation of the city of Jerusalem. We will then start walking to the church of the Dominus Flevit, the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. We then continue walking on the Palm Sunday Walk towards Gethsemane where we will celebrate Mass. This afternoon we then continue to St. Anne’s & Pools of Bethesda (included), the location where Jesus healed the crippled man (St. John chapter 5). You will also have a chance to sing at the Church of St. Anne, traditional site of the birthplace of Our Lady with magnificent acoustics. We will continue to the Chapel of the Flagellation where Our Lord was flogged as He started walking the Via Dolorosa. We then conclude the day and proceed to the convent of the Ecce Homo (included) to view the pavement where He was sentenced by Pilate. (B/D)
Day 9 – Tuesday, October 25: Via Dolorosa – Holy Sepulcher – St. Peter in Gallicantu – free time
We begin our day walking the Via Dolorosa towards the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where Our Lord was crucified, buried, and was resurrected to celebrate Mass. We will then proceed to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu (included), the house of the high priest Caiaphas and visit the Sacred Pit where Our Lord was held the night He was arrested. You will then have some free time to explore Jerusalem on your own. Return to Hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B/ D)
Day 10 – Wednesday, October 26: Western Wall – Mt. Zion – Ein Karem – Departure/Jerusalem
We begin our day with a visit to the Western Wall, holiest site in the world for Jews where you can put your prayers. We will visit Mt. Zion where the Dormition Abbey, the place where we remember the eternal sleep our Our Lady and the Cenacle (Upper Room / David’s Tomb) are located. We then visit Ein Karem to celebrate Mass at the Church of the Visitation where Our Blessed Mother visited Her cousin Elizabeth before we continue to the Church of St. John the Baptist where Saint John was born. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant (not included). Transfer to the Airport to board our homebound flight. (B)
